Chérie Soaps - Brand and Package Design
I developed the brand identity and packaging design for Chérie, an organic luxury body care line. The process began with designing a custom pictorial mark to anchor the logo, creating a visual symbol that reflects the brand's elegance and purity. From there, I illustrated a series of unique patterns tailored to complement the different scents in the collection, building a cohesive and sophisticated visual language across the product line.
Behind Chérie
“Cherie” is a French word meaning “darling” or “dear”, used as a term of endearment. I chose this as the name for the brand because I wanted to create a delicate and feminine identity. I also felt that it matched the visual of the butterfly-like pictorial sign.
Logo
I wanted to continue the delicate air to Cherie, which a cursive typeface would be best for. I tried a variety of fonts before deciding on Handsome Pro.
