Behind London Transit

London Transit was created after experiencing the difficulties of navigating public transportation in London during my time abroad. The name, London Transit, felt appropriate, as it was simple and straight to the point.

Using Big City Vibes for the logo, I felt that this font emanated the original fonts used in London transportation signs while adding a sense of movement.

Why London Transit?

The world of public transportation has become saturated and confusing to use. Train lines are shut down during traveling, buses stop halfway through a route, and dangerous situations make it difficult to rely on public transportation.

London Transit will streamline public transport by showing cheapest modes first, showing when lines are shut down and offers an anonymous reporting system that automatically tracks your location and what transit you’re on for reports. This product ultimately serves the population of London while also helping the City of London promote public transport and boost safety while traveling.
